It really cleans! 
I'm a broadcaster that uses mini-disc recorders for studio audio. We noticed an immediate improvement in sound quality after using this product.
Minidisc Head Cleaner 
OK, as to Head Cleaner.
However, I have problems with the Walkman\Minidisc NET MD software itself.
Plays OK, even the old "Unformatted Minidisc's", however doesn't Record well.
Great minidisc
After using this mini disc head cleaner, my equipment sounds superb again! It does really work as promised.
A MUST for Hi-MD owners
I have been having problems with my Sony MZ-RH10 where any kind of semi-severe jolt would completely cut off the player, also it couldn't read or write on Hi-Md discs correctly. Well, I decided to just try and use this head cleaner i have had for a while and bam! Worked like a charm. Highly recommended for all MD users, but hence the disc architecture of Hi-MDs, cleaning the head is a must.
ps. buy a laser lens cleaner as well, which I believe has more to do with the reading of the disc.
Sony MD cleaner
I recieved the minidisc head cleaner promptly, and it probably works very well. Unfortunately the problem I am having doesn't seem to be that the heads are dirty, so my minidisc still isn't working - and therefore I can't really say it worked magic.
